A couple fellow soldier friends & his mom know but that’s it. He’s afraid to tell his sister but it will have to come out soon enough. That’s not something you can really hide from the people you care about. Other then that, he’s generally a sweet guy. He doesn’t really party, though he used to. He avoids any “dangerous” situation that might trigger an episode. He really enjoys basketball & camping. Well, basically being outside in general. Joel really isn’t a big couch potato; you rarely see him sitting around watching television. Actually, he avoids it. Now, for his relationships. With friends, they’d have been on the same level as him-rather calm & collected. If they have the same interests that’s better. A couple crazy friends might be interesting to see what happens when he’s with him. For love, he has one future plot laid out but maybe something else until then might be interesting? He’d have had a couple one night stands here & there but not many. An ex-girlfriend wouldn’t be from this town, though, as he only recently took up a regular residence here. Enemies would be an interesting subject. He doesn’t really seek out any sort of confrontation. Really, he runs from it. Maybe one of his sister’s exboyfriends or something? Any ideas here would be great!

This girl is quirk. She gets excited really easily & rarely has a negative thought. So the issues with her mother’s family is really dragging her down. Still, she tries to put on a good front. It helps that she moved here to be closer to her uncle & his family. She is buying her own house, but she didn’t want to just move someplace where she didn’t know anyone at all. She went to school for fashion design & business but she has no real desires to have some big fashion line or store. Right now Brooklyn wants to open a small formalwear boutique. She wants to design some pieces here & there but nothing too major. She immerses herself in her work since there really isn’t much else going on in her life besides visiting with her family. With her friends, she’d have some from when she used to live here & summers spent. Plus new ones she males. Her cousin is probably her closest friend as well as the guy in her wanted ad. Which, for love, I have an idea for her final here but until then there are many possibilities. A friend with benefits? A couple one night stands? A past fling showing up? Endless possibilities. Now, enemies can happen. When she is drunk, her mouth kind of runs away with her. She could have stepped on someone’s toes then. She’s kind of an awkward flirt so she wouldn’t really try to go after a girl’s man because she doesn’t approach a guy first . Ever. Plus, there are always more possibilities as well.

brooklyn && thalia ,

so, i think thalia and brooklyn have a lot of potential for some plotting! thalia is twenty-two, so just a few years younger than brooklyn. she grew in up in charleston, but has spent the past four years at a fashion school in new york studying fashion design and business (like brooklyn). and then she spent a year or so in france interning for fashion design. now, she's bound and determined to become a full fledged designer. she's only come back to charleston, though, because her family is here and they think that she went to law school. so, she's back to try to fix her lie without losing her family's respect and fortune. nonetheless, there are similar careers between the two.

i don't know if they would have known each other when they were younger, since there was a three year age gap. they may have known each other, but i don't know how close they would have been. now, however, i think they either have potential to be friends or rivals of some sort. thalia hasn't told her family she's not in law school, so as far as they know she's a lawyer. but, trying to become a designer, she'd want her name out there, as brooklyn might, so they could know each other through that? thalia is semi-manipulative, headstrong, and determined, though, so that may make her come on a bit strong to brooklyn? not sure, but there's lots of possibilities for plotting, i think. (:

She just wants to design formal dresses from her shop but that's it. She's more into running the actual business with a couple custom pieces each month. So no rivalry here! In fact, Brooklyn would probably help Thalia if she wants to become a big name designer. She'd encourage her & even let her help with designing pieces at her store :]
